CLIENT BRIEF
The client, with a strong background in interior design, approached Scarbo Design & Build with a clear ambition: to create a bright, open-plan, modern family home with architectural impact and high-end finishes. While initial architectural plans had already been drawn, the client felt they lacked the ‘wow’ factor and spatial elegance they envisioned.

Beyond delivering a full structural transformation, our team made strategic design interventions to elevate the project. Our Director proposed a key layout change: relocating the ground floor WC to the front of the house, unlocking the ability to install a double-height entrance with an open staircase. This dramatically improved the sense of space, light and arrival.

Our in-house team quickly turned around technical drawings that were reviewed and signed off by both the structural engineer and building control, allowing us to proceed without delay.
